Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role the location played in this tragic event. Miranda was at The Rise Apartments when everything went down, and from what I gather, this area has been known for some safety issues in the past. Does anyone else here live nearby or know more about the safety measures (or lack thereof) that are in place around that complex? It's just heartbreaking to think that a lovely young person like Miranda was caught in such a dangerous situation. I'm also wondering if the community has taken any steps to better the safety in that area since the incident. It would be so meaningful if steps were taken to prevent anything like this from happening again. My thoughts are with Miranda’s family and friends. She seemed like such a bright light in her community, and this loss is undeniably heavy. If anyone has info about safety changes or community action, please share. Stay safe, everyone.
