Has anyone else read about the chilling standoff in the Manriquez case? It’s unnerving to think about those four children witnessing such a traumatic event. I can’t imagine the impact this must have on them. I’ve seen some discussion online questioning why it took so long for the authorities to resolve the situation. Maybe if intervention had happened sooner, Abigail might have been saved. What’s heart-wrenching is that domestic violence is often a pattern, and I'm wondering if there were prior incidents that weren’t addressed or reported. It's crucial we talk more about the warning signs and how to support people who might be in dangerous situations before it’s too late. Abigail deserved better, and my heart goes out to her family and loved ones who are facing this unbearable loss.
