I’ve been following James Chambers’ case for a while, and one aspect I keep coming back to is the role that private investigators can play in these situations. James' family didn't give up, and their decision to hire a private investigator was pivotal. It’s incredible how the PI was able to uncover evidence that eventually led to Howard Ashleman’s arrest. I have so much respect for James' family for their relentless pursuit of justice. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for them during those years when the case went cold. It's a reminder of the value of persistence and how critical a fresh perspective can be in unsolved cases. My thoughts are with them as they continue to heal and honor James’ memory.
