Hey everyone, I was just reading some old articles about the Pete Miller case, and I keep wondering how things could have turned out differently. How mind-boggling is it to think that if Richard's father had stopped just a little longer when he saw him parked on the side of the road, maybe asked a few questions or insisted on calling for help, things might have been different? I know hindsight is 20/20, but it makes you wonder about those split-second decisions and how they impact everything. Also, has anyone else been puzzled by how the truck ended up wiped clean and in Richmond? It's baffling. The journey from where it was last seen to Richmond isn't a short one. Considering the timeline, someone must have gone to great lengths to clear the evidence. It just seems like there might have been more people involved who knew things they didn't share or saw something off. I wish there was more clarity on how that loose end fit into everything else.

Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Richard's truck was found all the way in Richmond a month after he went missing? It's strange to me that it took so long to surface, and the fact that it was wiped clean just adds another layer of mystery. Who had the time and resources to move it and clean it so thoroughly? It makes me wonder if someone else helped Almond or if there are others involved that we don't know about. I know Almond confessed to the murder, but having the truck show up like this makes me question if everything is as straightforward as it seems. Anyone have theories on this part of the case?
