I can’t stop thinking about the bravery of the truck stop workers that night. It must have been terrifying to witness Sacramento Martinez fleeing across I-35 after Marisol's tragic death. I can only imagine the chaos and fear when that 18-wheeler sped off like that. Those employees work hard for a living; they didn't sign up to be witnesses to such violence. I hope they're receiving the support they need. This whole situation serves as a grim reminder of how domestic violence doesn’t just affect those directly involved, but can ripple out and touch the lives of complete strangers unexpectedly. Sending love and strength to everybody impacted by this, especially Marisol and Daniel's families.

Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about that awful night Marisol Martinez's life was cut short. My heart goes out to her family and friends. It’s just so chilling to think how she must have felt those last moments sitting in her car, thinking she was far enough away. I've been wondering about the role of protective orders in all of this. Marisol had one against Sacramento Martinez, yet it seemed like the system couldn’t keep him from harming her. Could it have been enforced differently, or were there missing pieces that most of us don't know about? It's just so frustrating how many times we hear about these orders being violated. What kind of changes do you think could make them more effective? My thoughts are with everyone affected by this horrible tragedy.
