I came across this case while reading about bond reform issues, and I can't help but think about Jecory's children. It's so sad to imagine how they have to grow up without their dad, who, from what I read, was such a joyful and loving person. His family must be going through unimaginable pain, not just from his loss but also from seeing the ones responsible getting bail despite their histories. It's really upsetting to think that this could have been avoided with stricter measures. It seems like the system truly let Jecory and his family down. I hope there is some semblance of justice and peace for them eventually. Anyone else think the system needs a serious overhaul to prevent something like this in the future?

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Jecory Rafael Miles, and something that's been weighing on my mind is the bond reform controversy surrounding his death. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through, especially knowing that those responsible for his death were out on bond despite their violent histories. It raises so many questions about the balance between reforming the justice system and ensuring public safety. Are the current reforms adequate, or are they inadvertently putting more people at risk? It just seems so unfair that Jecory's kids have to grow up without their father because of a system that some feel isn't doing enough to keep dangerous individuals off the streets. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this, especially if there's more information about how these reform policies are supposed to work in practice.
