Does anyone else find it troubling how quickly life can change with a single decision? I was just reflecting on Z'Kendrian Isaiah Jackson’s case, and it’s so unsettling to think about how what seemed like a normal day could turn so tragic. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family is feeling right now. It's particularly disturbing that the incident happened in a place like Charletta’s Hair Design, somewhere that should feel safe and routine. I wonder what was going through the minds of those present during the shooting — such a terrifying experience. It's a stark reminder that violence can touch any of us anywhere, and it highlights the need for stronger community engagement to prevent such incidents. Sending all my thoughts to Z'Kendrian’s loved ones. I hope they find justice and some peace in the midst of overwhelming grief. We really need to work together as a community to create safer environments for everyone.
