I can’t stop thinking about Sicilian and Brandy. I came across their case while following discussions on domestic violence awareness. What struck me is how often these discussions focus on younger couples, and I wonder if more attention needs to be given to older couples too. Brandy and James were both 45. There might have been signs that were overlooked because people assume certain things don't happen at that stage in life. I hope this case sparks conversations about support systems for all age groups, so nothing gets missed. My heart aches for Brandy's and Sicilian’s loved ones, who now have to process such an unfathomable tragedy. I'm praying that the investigation uncovers more so they can find some sort of peace or understanding. It's so important that they know they're not alone, and the community really seems to be rallying around them.
