Has anyone else been following the case of Angel Juarez in Dallas? I'm just trying to wrap my head around the whole situation. I mean, this poor guy was just walking around with friends, and now his family is left with this gaping void because of some senseless violence.
I've seen lots of conversations around the sketchy vehicle he was filming, but what gets me is how bold the attacker must have been to just start shooting in what I imagine was a relatively populated area. Does anyone who knows the Uptown area think this was a known issue, or random? It’s so frustrating to think Angel’s friends and family are still waiting for answers.
Has there been any chatter locally about potential leads? I hope Detective Montenegro and the team are keeping the pressure up—it’s just awful for a family to be left in the dark like this. If anyone is in that area, maybe it would help to keep discussing it, so people don’t forget to share any little piece of info they might have. My thoughts are definitely with his loved ones right now.
Last night, I was reading about Angel Juarez’s case, and I couldn't stop thinking about how vigilant he was. Filming a suspicious vehicle at that time of night shows he was looking out for his friends and community. It just makes me wonder, what did that car or the people inside it look like that made him feel the need to start filming? Angel’s instincts might have been warning him about something off, and it’s heartbreaking that his awareness ended in such a devastating loss.
To those who knew him, I can only imagine how hard it must be each day without answers or justice for what's happened. Sending strength to Angel’s friends and family. Hope someone comes forward with the information needed to make a breakthrough in this case.
Has anyone else been thinking about why Angel Juarez felt the need to start filming the vehicle that night? It's not uncommon for people to pull out their phones when they see something suspicious, but it makes me wonder if he had a gut feeling that something was really off. If that's the case, it must have been truly unsettling.
It's been three years, and I imagine his family is still desperately hoping for some closure. I can't help but feel for them — losing someone so young and having zero answers must be incredibly difficult to endure. I hope that with more awareness and the reward being offered, someone who knows something will find the courage to come forward. Every bit of information could be crucial to closing this case and bringing some peace to Angel's loved ones.
