Hey everyone, I've been following the case about Isabella Cimetta, and something that's been bothering me is the security measures at the Texas Renaissance Festival. Has anyone else looked into this? It seems wild to me that such a tragic incident could occur at a family-friendly event with thousands of people attending. Were there security personnel present when the altercation happened, or were most people already at their campsites given the late hour? I imagine handling a crowd during a pandemic, especially one as large as a ren fest crowd, would already be chaotic, but still, I can’t help but feel like there should have been more oversight to prevent something like this. My heart goes out to Isabella’s family and friends. They’re enduring unimaginable pain, and I hope the festival organizers are revising safety measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Has anyone else seen any updates about changes being made there?
