I imagine his family had an inkling that the body found in the barn was Clifton. I am glad after so many years they confirmed it. Looking at the report it looks like he died of exposure. I am glad it was not violent. I am saddened that his mother was not alive to have the confirmation of what definitively happened to her youngest son.

Hey everyone, I came across Clifton Womack's case and something caught my attention. It apparently went cold pretty quickly after he was last seen in '85, but did anyone else notice the mention about him possibly needing medication? I wonder if that could've played a bigger part in his disappearance than was initially thought. Lack of medication might make someone vulnerable if they were in a confusing or difficult situation, especially with no digital records like we have today. Has anyone heard if this angle was looked into more, like tracing pharmacies or checking abandoned prescriptions? Would love to know if others think this could be significant or if it's just another piece of the puzzle.
I've been reading up on Clifton Womack's case and can't help but wonder about the significance of his scar on the left forearm. Could it have been from a previous accident or possibly something tied to his disappearance? In cases like these, even the smallest details can sometimes unlock new leads. It's surprising how little is out there about his medical needs at the time, too. Missing medications can be a major clue, especially if he was in a vulnerable state without them. Just curious if anyone else has thoughts on how these details might fit into the bigger picture of what happened to him.
