Amos Buchanan is from the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. He has at least 8 children that I know of 1 including my mom! Prior to moving to TX he had left his family in California never to be heard or seen again. I am trying to piece together the puzzle to find out what happened to him. I am curious if there is anyway to submit DNA to cross reference a database maybe he is unidentified somewhere?

Hey everyone,
I came across Amos Buchanan's case recently and something caught my attention that hasn't been discussed much. It's about where he worked — Blacman Morring Carpet Cleaning. Does anyone know if there were ever any interviews or statements from his co-workers or supervisor? Given that he had only been there for a month, I'm curious if any tensions or unusual occurrences might have happened at work around the time he disappeared. I wonder if any of the employees from back then are still in the area and if they might remember something new after all these years. Just thinking out loud here, but maybe someone in Fort Worth with ties to the local businesses might have more insight?
Stay safe, and thanks for keeping Amos in your thoughts!
It's interesting to note that Amos Buchanan was working at Blacman Morring Carpet Cleaning for only a month before he went missing. I can't help but wonder about the dynamics at his workplace. Did he have any conflicts with coworkers, or was he adjusting well to the job? Sometimes, new environments can reveal tensions or connections that could be relevant in cases like this.
I also find it odd that there haven't been any significant breakthroughs despite it being such a long time. It makes me think about how many missing persons cases get overshadowed because they lack certain resources or media attention. Does anyone here have thoughts on how we can help bring more awareness to cold cases like Amos's, which might not get the attention they deserve?
Has anyone been able to dig up more about Amos Buchanan's coworkers at Blacman Morring Carpet Cleaning? I've been thinking that someone there might have seen or heard something that could provide new insights. It's curious that after a month of employment, Amos just vanished without a trace. Did any incidents or disputes happen at work, or did anyone notice if he'd been acting differently before March 9, 1987? Sometimes people hold onto information because they think it might not be relevant or they fear getting involved. It's been decades, but I can't help but wonder if reaching out to former employees who were around at that time could uncover something previously overlooked. Thoughts?
