It's been tough following the case of Matthew Hilam Lopez and Ruben Eduardo Soto. My heart goes out to their families, who must be going through such a difficult time. I’ve been thinking about the community's role in helping solve this tragedy. It's unsettling knowing that there are probably some people out there who have seen something or heard something but haven't come forward yet. San Antonio isn't a huge city, and sometimes it feels like everybody knows everybody. This makes it all the more puzzling that no one has been arrested or even identified as a suspect. I keep wondering if someone saw a car driving suspiciously or heard unusual noises that night and hasn't reported it because they thought it was insignificant. If you know anything, no matter how small it seems, please consider reaching out to the authorities. We can be a part of bringing some peace to Matthew and Ruben’s families. Hoping for some break in the case soon.
