Wow, this is just devastating for Oscar Canizales' family and the community. I noticed that the incident happened in broad daylight. It makes me wonder about the state of safety in our neighborhoods and how something so tragic could happen at a seemingly random location like a tire shop. It raises so many questions for me. Was there any kind of surveillance footage available from nearby businesses or traffic cams? I feel like in today’s age, there must be some digital trail. I hope the police are exploring all possible leads. It just seems so senseless, and I really hope they’re able to find justice for Oscar and bring Calixto in soon. If there's anything to be grateful for in this horrible situation, it’s that the community seems really engaged and willing to help out.

I’ve been following the case of Oscar Canizales, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I find it incredibly shocking that Oscar Calixto could just disappear after such a violent act. It really makes you wonder how someone remains at large for so long, especially in a case that's gained so much attention. I’ve seen that the HPD released a prior booking photo of Calixto, which is a good step, but I hope they also consider other avenues such as social media alerts or engaging community groups. Has anyone here heard if they’ve expanded their search outside Houston? It seems like Calixto could slip through the cracks if the net isn’t wide enough. All thoughts and info are appreciated as I know we all want to see justice served.
