I’ve been following Tre’Veon Buckner’s case closely and find myself thinking a lot about the terrifying moment his friend faced during the incident. I can't imagine the shock and fear they experienced as everything unfolded so quickly. Being there, seeing your friend in such danger, and having to react in a split second must have been incredibly traumatic. It's really disheartening that this type of violence can erupt in what starts as a normal day. We often hear about cases like this, but it’s a stark reminder how precious and fragile life is. I hope his friend is finding the support they need because witnessing something like that is not easy to process. I also wanted to mention that putting out the description of the suspect was really important by the police. A red Hollister hoodie and blue jeans could hopefully jog someone’s memory. Fingers crossed that someone with information comes forward soon. Keeping Tre’Veon’s family and friends in my thoughts as they search for justice and find peace in this difficult time.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain Tre’Veon’s family must be going through right now, especially considering he left behind a 10-year-old son and an unborn child. It really hits hard when you think about how suddenly and violently a family's life can change forever. What stands out to me is the brazen nature of the crime. Broad daylight, a busy gas station, and yet this suspect felt emboldened enough to commit such a heinous act. It's terrifying to think that someone so reckless is still out there, and I hope that the $5,000 reward can motivate someone to come forward with information. Moreover, can we talk about the repeated issue with leaving cars running at gas stations? I've seen so many reminders about not doing this, and yet it still happens. This isn’t to place blame but to emphasize the need for increased awareness, perhaps as part of the educational outreach by the local authorities. Security cameras and better lighting could also act as deterrents. To Tre’Veon’s family and friends, I just want to say that the community supports you. We are all hoping that justice will come swiftly and that the person responsible will be held accountable for taking a life so precious.
