I've been thinking a lot about the neighbors at the River Oaks Villa Apartments who must have heard or witnessed the tragic events that took place with Leroy Hammond-Williams and Selena Carrion. It must be incredibly jarring to suddenly become a part of something so traumatic in your own home environment. I wonder how they're processing it all and what kind of support is available for those who inadvertently experience such incidents. The ripple effects of domestic violence are wide-reaching, and it’s important to recognize the mental and emotional toll it can take on bystanders as well. Has anyone heard if there are any community efforts or resources being provided for neighbors who are affected by witnessing events like this?
