I’ve been thinking about Robin Waddell and how deeply her loss has touched the community of Burleson. From what I’ve gathered, she was a truly remarkable woman with a passion for helping animals and making the world a little brighter for those around her. It's devastating to think how quickly and violently her life was taken away. Something that struck me about this case is the courage her family and friends have shown throughout this ordeal. It takes immense strength to face such a horrific act and still be able to speak out about the wonderful person Robin was. I rewatched some of the news segments, and seeing her loved ones talk about her kindness truly moved me. It’s clear she left a huge positive mark on everyone she met. As the legal proceedings against Elders unfold, I hope Robin’s family finds some comfort in the outpouring of support from their community. If anyone has updates on how they’re doing or ways we can continue to support them, please share. No one should have to endure such a tragedy alone.
