I've been following the Robert Douglas Barry case closely, and I keep wondering about the passenger in the car. It must have been such a traumatizing experience for them, being in the vehicle during the shooting and crash. Has there been any more information released about what they saw or heard? I can't even begin to imagine the shock they must have felt, just driving along and then suddenly, everything changes in an instant. I hope they're receiving support and are somehow able to cope with this ordeal. It seems like their observations could be crucial for solving this case. Mesquite Police are still urging people to come forward with any tips, and I really hope someone knows something that could finally bring closure to Robert's family. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts.
Has anyone thought about the significance of the location where Robert was shot? The ramp by Town East Mall is always busy, especially around 7:30 p.m. There must have been lots of potential witnesses. It's baffling that no one has come forward with more information yet. It makes me wonder if someone might have seen something but didn't realize how crucial it might be to the case.
I can only imagine the pain his family feels, knowing that justice hasn't been served yet. If anyone was in the area that evening and noticed anything unusual, please speak up. Even the smallest detail could help bring his loved ones some peace.
Was anyone else shocked to hear about Robert Douglas Barry's case and how it seems to have just hit a dead end? It's been over two years now, and I'm still holding out hope that some kind of closure will be found. It seems so senseless that someone could take a life in what appears to be a random act of violence.
Thinking about his family just breaks my heart—they deserve answers and justice. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for them to have no answers after all this time. It's especially disheartening to hear that Crime Stoppers put up that $5,000 reward, yet no one's come forward with information. What do you all think needs to happen to get some movement in this case? Maybe renewed media attention could make a difference?
