Just came across the info on Larry Johnson's disappearance from 1989 while reading through some old threads. It's haunting how someone can just vanish without a trace like that. Larry was just 20 and had so much ahead of him. I wonder if anyone has dug deep into the area surrounding Carolina Beach. With it being a popular tourist spot, could someone have seen him after he left for the store? Maybe a distant memory from a tourist who was there back in '89 could link to something significant. I know it's reaching, but sometimes the smallest details can be what cracks such an old case. Has there been any effort over the years to circulate his story or face in those "In Search Of" TV segments or similar programs? Maybe reaching out to the wider public again could jog someone's memory after all these years. Thoughts?
