Hey everyone, I've been thinking about how unsettling it is that almost two years have passed since Lysanius Lee Jackson's tragic death, and still no real leads or suspects have been announced. It's hard to imagine the pain his family and friends are living with amidst this uncertainty. I keep hoping that someone who was at that Texaco station on East Berry Street might remember something or feel compelled to speak up. Even the smallest detail could make a difference. Just thinking about how this incident shines a light on the bigger problem of gun violence in Fort Worth is sobering. What's really scary is how these altercations, like the one that claimed Lysanius, can escalate so suddenly and have irreversible consequences. It reminds me how important it is for us as a community to find ways to address these issues and support each other. Hoping for some breakthrough soon and justice for Lysanius and his loved ones. If anyone hears anything or has thoughts about what might help move things forward, please share. Stay safe out there, all.

Hey everyone, I just read about the Lysanius Lee Jackson case, and I can't stop thinking about how senseless his loss is. I noticed that the incident took place at a fairly busy time in the evening—10:30 p.m. at a gas station on East Berry Street. This makes me wonder if there were any witnesses who haven't come forward yet. With so many people likely going about their evening routines, it's hard to believe nobody saw anything that could help authorities. It's really disheartening that no suspects have been identified, especially when his family and friends are left in such pain. Do any locals have insight on the area or what the atmosphere was like that night? I hope someone out there remembers something, no matter how small it might seem. It's so important that we help bring the person responsible to justice. Thinking of Lysanius’s family and sending them strength during this incredibly difficult time.
