Ronnie Berry's tragic death really brings to light how quickly things can escalate and change lives forever. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Pastor Simmons' words about the value of life really hit home. It’s chilling to think a night of playing cards ended in such a senseless tragedy. I think we often underestimate how high emotions can run during recreational activities like poker. It’s a stark reminder of how fragile life is and how disputes need to be handled with composure. The 4th of July should be a time of happiness and community, not violence and loss. It's frustrating to see this pattern of violence continuing unchecked. Dallas, and cities everywhere really, need to reflect on how we address the underlying issues contributing to these kinds of incidents. How can we better support our communities to prevent such heartbreaking outcomes? Thinking of Ronnie and hoping for justice and healing for everyone affected.
