I've been following the case of Lauren Gums since it first came to light, and it's so upsetting to think about how her family must be feeling, especially as we approach another anniversary of her passing. One thing I've been wondering is what led to the delays in Dedreuain Reese's case? Milo Douglas has already been sentenced, yet Reese’s case seems to be dragging on. It's baffling, and I can't imagine how frustrating this must be for Lauren’s loved ones who are looking for closure. I hope the Austin Police Department continues to make strides in the investigation and that anyone with information finds the courage to come forward. It's heartening to see the community’s support, and I truly hope we see justice fully served for Lauren’s family.
