Does anyone else find it puzzling how Thomas Wayne Lawson Sr. ended up in that specific location at that specific time? Given the secluded nature of the wooded area behind the residence on Horseshoe Loop Road, it makes me wonder if Lawson had some prior connection or knowledge about that place. Was it a spot he frequented, or was it known to the victims as well? Sometimes understanding the geography and connections can shed some light on the events that unfolded. My thoughts are with Roger Franklin Cowley's family and friends as they try to piece together the 'why' behind this senseless tragedy. Can only imagine how hard it must be not having clear answers yet. ??
