Hey all, I've been following Shaka Harwood's case and something that's been on my mind is how vital the community's involvement can be in situations like this. Shaka was so young, just 21—it just hits differently when someone doesn’t get the chance to live out their life. From everything I've read, it sounds like the HPD is doing everything they can, but without a motive or suspects, they seem to be hitting a wall. Has anyone heard if there were any community meetings or gatherings about this case? Sometimes those can lead to breakthroughs if someone remembers seeing something but isn’t aware it was important. It feels like someone out there must have seen or heard something that night in the apartment complex. ? Stay safe, everyone.
