I've been following Roslyn Ramon's case and something that's been on my mind is the bravery and resilience of her friends who were with her that night. It's terrifying to think about what they went through—being in the car during such a traumatic event and then dealing with injuries on top of losing Roslyn. The fact that they have come forward and continue to support her family shows incredible strength. I can’t imagine the emotional toll this has taken on them, and I hope they have access to the support they need to heal. It’s clear Roslyn had a wonderful group of people around her who continue to honor her memory despite their own suffering. Sending thoughts of peace and healing to them all during this difficult time. ?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact of Roslyn’s murder not just on her family, but on the wider community in Corpus Christi. It’s so unnerving to imagine that such violence can occur in what we often deem our safe spaces. I can’t begin to fathom the sense of loss that her family, including her mom Jessica, must be enduring.
The fact that Esten Chavez was caught because of the Go Pro footage is pivotal; it’s crazy how technology now plays a crucial role in solving crimes. I truly hope that Roslyn's family finds some comfort in knowing that justice has been served, although I’m sure it doesn’t fill the void of losing someone so vibrant and beloved.
I’m curious about how community support has been for Roslyn’s family. Has there been any outreach or events organized in her memory? Sometimes these efforts can aid in the healing process, showing the family they are not alone in their grief. My heart genuinely goes out to them during this tough period.
