Has anyone else been keeping an eye on the witness testimonies in Francisco Garza's case? It's been haunting how a night out at a bar can devolve into something so tragic. I can’t help but think about how scary it must have been for Francisco and Lewis to experience the shooting while driving, a full month before Francisco succumbed to his injuries. The fact that someone could have such disregard for human life to follow and endanger them on the road is terrifying. The trial revealed quite a bit about Timothy Philip Moreno’s past violent behavior, and it makes me wonder how many red flags were missed before things escalated to this point. It’s crucial for the community to be more vigilant and proactive about reporting suspicious behaviors, no matter how small they may seem. I feel for Francisco's family, having to relive the pain through the trial. It’s a comfort that justice was served, but it’s just so sad that it had to come to this. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this, and I hope we can learn from this to create a safer community.
