I’ve been thinking a lot about the witnesses who saw John Smith near James Davis's apartment that night. It must have been terrifying for them to realize they were so close to such a horrific event. It makes me think about how we, as a community, can support these individuals, encouraging them to share what they saw while ensuring they feel safe and protected. The bravery of those stepping up to provide vital information deserves recognition and respect, especially when dealing with a case as distressing as this one. My thoughts are with James’s loved ones, and I hope they continue to receive the support they need during this difficult time.
