Has anyone else been following the court proceedings for Jaylon DeJuan Levo’s case? I can’t help but feel for his family, especially after reading about his father, Jeremy Smith, who had to cut Jaylon’s hair one final time before the funeral. It’s unimaginable. The community really seems to be rallying behind them, but it’s so disheartening to see the legal system’s decisions sometimes, like reducing Stafford’s bond. I understand there are legal protocols, but it feels like a slap in the face to the victims' families who just want justice and safety. Are there initiatives or discussions in the community about supporting the family or ensuring that similar cases are handled with more regard for the victims in the future? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
