Does anyone here remember the big search effort in Gold Hill for Danny Kelley? I was there as a volunteer back in '95, and it was a massive community turnout. It was eye-opening to see so many people come together, combing through the town and surrounding areas. I was young, but I remember thinking how someone could just vanish into thin air like that from a place where everybody seemed to know everybody. What always stood out to me is how dedicated and relentless Danny's family was, even organizing events for years after to keep his name out there. It's just so unsettling that despite everything, there's still no clear answer about what happened to him. Anybody else here have memories of that search or subsequent events? It's always stayed with me.
