I've been following the case of Carlos Fabian Cardenas, and it truly devastates me to see such a vibrant and generous soul taken from this world. Something that's been on my mind is Carlos's incredible passion for history and archaeology. It's clear he had a genuine curiosity and a love for learning about the past. I feel like this passion really reflects who he was as a person—someone who valued stories and the lives of others, even those who lived long before him. In cases like this, it is so difficult to comprehend how someone who seemed to bring so much light into the world could have their life overshadowed by such darkness. I hope the investigators leave no stone unturned for justice to be served, ensuring those responsible for this senseless act are held accountable. In the meantime, let's continue to remember and celebrate the kindness and positivity Carlos shared with everyone around him. To all of Carlos's friends and family, I am keeping you in my thoughts. Stay strong.
