Hey everyone, I've been following Cristian's case, and something that's been on my mind is the gun itself. From what I've read, the gun Andre Sharp used didn't fire the first two times before going off on the third attempt. This detail really sticks with me because it makes me wonder about the intent and the actual condition of the weapon.
Why did it not fire initially? Was it faulty, or is there more to this that hasn't been talked about? It must be so painful for Cristian's family to think about the moments leading up to that tragedy. I keep thinking about how terrifying it must have been for Cristian and his sister during those few seconds. The whole situation is devastating, and I truly hope the full truth comes out so the Gonzalez family can find some peace. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Has anyone else read about the way Cristian’s family has kept his room as a memorial? I can't even begin to imagine the pain they must be feeling every single day. It’s so touching and yet incredibly sad to think of all his favorite things being exactly where he left them. His love for cars and video games must be evident in every corner of that room. As a parent myself, I can't fathom the idea of losing a child so suddenly and tragically.
It just breaks my heart to know that Daniela and the rest of the family are reminded daily of his absence in what should be spaces filled with laughter and life. The entire situation is so unimaginable. How are they supposed to cope with these memories, especially when justice still feels out of reach? I can’t even begin to imagine the pain Cristian's family is going through. How devastating this entire situation must be for them. I think what really breaks my heart is hearing about Cristian’s sister, Daniela, and how she’s trying to cope with losing her brother. It’s a type of strength that’s hard to fathom. I remember reading how his room is still the same, almost like a sanctuary for their memories of him. It’s so incredibly moving but also a reminder of the immense loss they continue to deal with every day.
