Has anyone looked into potential sightings of Talmadge Neal Patton's truck in regions outside of North Dakota? I mean, his disappearance might have been planned, or maybe someone else was driving it. The description of the truck is pretty distinctive—a brown 1982 Dodge pickup with a white topper. It just seems odd that no one has spotted it definitively all these years. Harvesting crews thought they saw it, but that lead didn't pan out. I'm curious whether there were any similar sightings in other states, especially along the route he might have taken to Tennessee or Georgia. Even if it's a long shot, tracking down a lead on that truck could provide crucial clues about what happened to him.

Wow, this case about Talmadge Neal Patton is really puzzling. I was going over the details and couldn't help but focus on the fact that the coffee pot was left on when his daughter and granddaughter checked his house. That strikes me as odd because if he had left on his own accord, wouldn’t he have probably turned it off? It makes me think he must have been in a rush or interrupted suddenly. And the empty thermos bottles lined up—but no sign of him having taken any with him—has always baffled me. It’s like he was preparing for a journey that he never got to take. Does anyone know if the police explored the possibility that someone local might be involved, especially since his family was expecting him in Tennessee and eventually Georgia? It's unsettling that nothing concrete has surfaced for so many years.
