I've been reading through this forum for a while, and it’s still hard to wrap my mind around the tragedy in Uvalde. One thing that strikes me is how Lexi’s passion for softball really symbolized her joyful spirit and determination. It’s just so gut-wrenching to think about how such a vibrant young life, full of dreams and potential, could be taken in an instant. I came across a story shared by someone in the community about Lexi's endless energy and positivity on the field, always cheering on her teammates, no matter the score. It’s wonderful to remember her that way, as bright and full of life as she was. My heart truly goes out to the Rubio family. No parent should ever have to endure such pain. Let’s keep sharing these stories, not only as a way to honor Lexi and the others, but to remind everyone of the importance of the changes we so desperately need.
