This friend must be going through so much, knowing they were perhaps one of the last people connected to John before this tragedy unfolded. I wonder how they’re coping now that the trial has concluded and the suspect has been sentenced. It’s a harsh reminder of how quickly lives can change and how crucial it is to lean on our communities for support. It's an awful situation, but I hope this friend finds some solace in knowing they took action to ensure justice was served for John.
