I’ve been thinking about the impact of this tragedy not just on the immediate families of Concepta and Mark, but on the broader community and how such events shatter a sense of safety. It’s shocking to think about how something so violent could happen in a seemingly quiet neighborhood like Cartwright Road. From everything I’ve read, Concepta seemed like an inspiring individual who touched many lives, both personally and professionally. It’s important to remember the positive influence she had and the memories she left behind. I didn’t know her, but as someone who values community, it hurts to see such senseless acts that rob wonderful people from those who love and cherish them. Keeping everyone who knew them in my thoughts as they navigate this difficult time.
