I recently came across the case of Erol Cizmo and can't get it off my mind. It’s terrifying to think that a young man's life was taken so violently, and yet, years later, his family is still searching for answers. I live near the area where the incident happened, and it’s unsettling to know that the person responsible might still be out there. What really strikes me is how Erol's mother has been so steadfast in her pursuit of justice. Her bravery and determination are incredibly moving. It must be incredibly difficult for the family, dealing with such an unimaginable loss while also advocating for any piece of information that could break this case wide open. Does anyone local to the St. Louis area remember any significant events or changes around that time? Even the smallest detail might help jog someone’s memory. I really hope this community can work together to support Erol’s family in finding the truth. Let's help keep this case alive and shining a light on what happened that night.

I came across the case of Erol Cizmo while reading up on unsolved homicides in St. Louis. It's truly unsettling that after all these years, there's still no closure for his family. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras in the area where the shooting happened. It's the 2800 block of Mount Pleasant Street—maybe there are businesses or homes with security footage that could hold some answers. It's worth checking if any cameras from August 2016 might have captured something that was overlooked. For Erol’s family, especially his mom pushing so hard for answers, I can only imagine how tough each day must be, not knowing what really happened that night. If anyone even thinks they might have seen something or heard something unusual around that time, don't let it fade away. Every small detail can matter. Let's help bring justice for Erol.

I've been closely following Erol Cizmo's case, and what's striking is the lack of surveillance footage available from the night of the shooting. Given that the area around Mount Pleasant Street is quite residential, I would expect at least some homes to have security cameras. It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle might be missing, and I wonder if neighbors were asked to check any cameras they had for unusual activity that night. Even though it's been years now, maybe someone will remember seeing something on their footage, or the cameras might have captured a vehicle or a person in the area at the time. It's exasperating to think that there could be essential evidence out there that hasn't been tapped into yet. If anyone from the neighborhood happens to read this, I really urge you to go back and think about that night, even check any old footage if it's still possible. Cizmo's family deserves answers, and even the smallest detail might bring them one step closer to that. Keeping this case alive in the community's mind is so important. If anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities; they really need all the help they can get.
