I've been thinking a lot about the impact of organized crime in smaller communities, especially after what happened to Malcolm Marques Hatfield. It's terrifying to think how these criminal networks can disrupt the lives of so many people. Malcolm was just 19, with so much life ahead of him, and his passing has shaken the community to its core. It's so important for the community to come together now, not only to support Malcolm’s family and friends, but also to stand against the kind of activity that led to this tragedy. Perhaps it's time for neighborhoods to engage more proactively with local authorities in initiatives aimed at curbing organized crime. How do others feel about community involvement as a tool for prevention? It feels like we owe it to Malcolm and his loved ones to do whatever we can.
