I've been following the case of Kevin Obando, and I can't shake this particular detail that didn't quite make sense to me. Reports mention that the shooter was known to Kevin, but no one seems to be talking about why this person would do such a thing. It's hard to imagine someone attacking a person as genuine and kind as Kevin without a known motive. I find it distressing to think that this person was trusted enough to be in Kevin's life yet ended up causing such immense pain to his family and friends. My heart goes out to Kevin's wife, Emily, and their son, Daniel. I can't begin to fathom how they're navigating this loss while still wanting answers and accountability.
