Hey everyone,
I've been following Shaun Hawkins’ case for a while and something that's really been on my mind is the role that technology might play in solving it. I read somewhere that the police are hopeful about using advances in tech to crack this case, and I'm curious about what specific technologies might help.
With the rapid advancements in forensic science, could things like enhanced DNA analysis or digital forensics make a difference here? Imagine if someone out there had a video clip on their old phone they didn’t think was relevant, but new software could pick out something important from it now.
I deeply sympathize with Shaun's family. They've been living with this unimaginable pain, and it's tough knowing that the person responsible is still out there. In cases like this, wouldn’t it make sense to re-examine old evidence with new tech every few years to see if fresh clues emerge? I truly hope that with the help of tech and the community, we find justice for Shaun sooner than later.
Would love to hear other folks' thoughts on this. Do you think tech could be the game-changer we need in cases that seem to hit dead ends?
Stay safe, everyone.
It absolutely frustrates me every time I think about Shaun's case still being unsolved after all these years. I came across an article recently that mentioned how technology can now help solve cold cases like Shaun's. Has anyone here heard about how advances in forensic science or data analysis could be applied? I know things have changed a lot since 2016, and it gives me some hope.
I also wonder if the community around northern St. Louis has noticed any new developments or if anyone remembers something new with the passage of time. It might be a long shot, but even tiny details or memories could make a difference.
I can't imagine the pain Shaun's family must be feeling, waiting for the justice they deserve. If you know something or heard something, please, please speak up. They deserve some peace and answers. Sending love and strength to Shaun's family through these tough times.
I've been following Shaun's case for a while, and it really weighs on my mind how tough it must be for his loved ones, not having answers after all these years. I was thinking about how every detail, even the small ones, might be a crucial piece of the puzzle. Have they ever released any information about possible vehicle sightings in the area around the time of his murder? Sometimes a car that seemed out of place or even a license plate number could be the breakthrough investigators need. The area gets a lot of traffic, and someone might have seen something without realizing its importance at the time. I really hope that anyone who might have been around there on September 6th remembers to check if even the smallest memory could help solve this. Keeping Shauns' family in my thoughts and hoping for justice.
