Hey everyone, I've been digging into the disappearance of Obaidullah James Shams, and something caught my attention regarding the location where his car was found. It was abandoned behind a Holiday Inn in Victorville, with the keys still in the ignition. I'm really curious about the positioning of the car - like, was it parked there deliberately, or did it look like it was left in a hurry? Also, Victorville seems kind of out of the way if he was planning to head up to northern California, right? Does anyone know if the area around that Holiday Inn was known for anything sketchy back then? I'm just wondering if he was potentially meeting someone there or if there's a reason that spot was chosen to leave his car. Would love to hear any thoughts or local knowledge anyone might have!
