Hey everyone, I've been following Novita Brazil's case, and just can't stop thinking about the fact that she was simply a student working towards her future when everything was taken away from her in such a cruel manner. I can't imagine the pain her family must be going through, knowing that she was in the safety of her own home - a place that's supposed to be a sanctuary - when she was killed. What's even more disturbing is the sheer number of rounds fired. It's just mind-blowing that these teenagers could unleash such chaos without a second thought. This case really hits home regarding how dire the situation is with youth gun violence. It's just so senseless! I read somewhere that the 15-year-old was certified to stand trial as an adult. It must be so complex for everyone involved, balancing the severity of the crime with the fact that he’s still so young. I hope Novita's family finds some peace as the case moves forward.
