Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about Ruben Michael Garcia's little boy, Alexander, in all of this. It must be incredibly hard for a young child to understand such a sudden and tragic loss. My heart goes out to him and the rest of Ruben's family. They must be going through unimaginable pain right now. It really hits home how precious and unpredictable life is. Ruben seemed like such a dedicated father and community member, and it’s just so unfair that Alexander will grow up without his dad. I hope the community continues to rally around the family, offering them support in any way they need. It would be amazing to see a community fund set up for Alexander's future, whether that's for education or other needs. Hopefully, the investigation provides answers soon, and justice is served for Ruben and his family. It's comforting to know that communities can come together to honor someone's legacy and support those left behind. Stay strong, everyone. If you have any info on ways to help Alexander's future, please share. Take care.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Ruben had on his community and the role he played as a deputy constable. It strikes me how often we take for granted the dedication of those who serve and protect us every day. I drove down State Highway 48 recently, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of loss for what happened there. Ruben wasn’t just an officer; he was a father, a friend, and a car enthusiast who brought joy into many lives. My heart goes out to his family and especially to his young son, Alexander. Growing up without your father is always hard, but I hope one day Alexander will find comfort in knowing how much his dad was loved and respected. The fact that this tragedy happened because someone made a reckless choice is so infuriating. It's a reminder to stay focused and be responsible on the road. I hope there’s swift justice, not just for Ruben’s family, but to send a message that such negligence won’t be tolerated. Ruben’s spirit of generosity and service will not be forgotten.
