I can't stop thinking about how this tragedy has affected everyone at the Medical Examiner's Office. From what I've gathered, Beth was more than just a colleague; she was a cherished part of their lives. I can't imagine the trauma and impact this has on her coworkers, especially the one who was also injured. They’re processing not only the loss of a friend but also the terrifying experience of witnessing such violence in a place that should be safe. It's important to support the office during this difficult time. If anyone knows of any communal initiatives or support groups being set up for them, please share. We need to rally around those affected and give them the care and support they undoubtedly need.
