Hey everyone, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about McKambrey Deon Perkins' story. It’s so incredibly sad to lose someone so young, with so much potential and dreams for the future. I learned he had big dreams of making it in the music industry, which has got to be hitting his community really hard. Music can be such a unifying thing, and from what I’ve read, McKambrey was already leaving a mark with his talent. It's heartbreaking to think of those cherished moments in the choir or on the football field being cut short like this. It’s important to remember that beyond the headlines, McKambrey was a son, a friend, and a promising young artist just starting out on his journey. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be experiencing unimaginable pain right now. I hope the community continues to rally for justice in his name and that anyone with information feels compelled to step forward. Keeping the light on McKambrey, so he isn’t just another statistic. Let’s hope there’s closure for his loved ones soon. Peace to all.
