I was reflecting on the sense of community that came together during Clint Demetri Jones's memorial service at Marlboro Heights Missionary Baptist Church back in January. Even though I didn't know Clint personally, you could feel the love and support radiating from everyone present. It says a lot about Clint as a person—that so many turned up to honor his memory and support his family during such a difficult time. I continue to be moved by the shared stories and memories posted online by his friends and family. They definitely paint a picture of a warm, generous individual who brought so much light and positivity into every room he entered. It's truly tragic that his life was cut short by such senseless violence. I hope that the ongoing investigation finds all the answers and justice is served, not just for Clint's sake but also to bring some peace to everyone who knew him.
