I’ve been thinking a lot about Officer Ragsdale’s wife and kids since this case came up again. I can't imagine what they're going through all these years without him. It's incredible how the family members are often the silent victims in these tragic situations. Losing a spouse and a father so suddenly and violently must have been devastating. I hope they’ve found some form of peace and healing. The community really lost someone special that day. A big salute to all the officers who continue to put themselves on the line every day, despite the risks. Supporting the families they leave behind is so important!
