I’ve been following Stacy Dejuan Isreal's case closely, and it’s deeply concerning how little progress has been made over the years. It must be incredibly difficult for her family and friends to cope without closure. I was wondering if anyone here had thoughts on how local community efforts might be improved to support victims of gun violence and assist law enforcement in solving these cases. In many instances, cases grow cold due to a lack of fresh information or witnesses coming forward. Does anyone think that increased community outreach, perhaps in the form of educational programs or local advocacy groups, might make a difference in encouraging more people to share what they know? Sometimes, even small bits of information can be crucial. I've read that St. Louis has faced significant challenges with crime spikes, not just in 2016 but in other years as well. It's clear to me that law enforcement can't tackle this alone. Has there been any recent success in similar cases once communities got more involved? And has there been any update on possible rewards for tips in cases like Stacy’s? Would love to hear thoughts and any possible resources we could push for greater visibility.
