Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the tragedy surrounding Cartrial Robertson, and one thing that's stuck with me is the imagery he posted on social media before his death. As heartbreaking as this loss is, I can't help but wonder about the role social media plays in these situations. It seems like a lot of these kids are almost painting a picture of themselves that's far from the reality we wish for them.
The images with weapons, cash, and what looks like drugs were up for who knows how long before this tragedy unfolded. Was anyone monitoring these posts—family, friends, or even authorities? It feels like there's a missed opportunity for intervention.
My heart goes out to his family and friends, and I'm also worried about Darrin Wilson. Two young lives have been heavily impacted by this, and I just hope this case makes people more vigilant. For those of you familiar with the Memphis area, are there any groups actively working on educating kids about the dangers of posting such content or providing guidance to at-risk youth?
Stay safe, everybody. This story definitely serves as a wake-up call for all of us to pay closer attention and maybe lend a hand where we can.
