It must have been terrifying for the residents to live with so much uncertainty and fear on a daily basis. I'm curious about what kind of steps could have been taken to improve the situation and whether any successful initiatives were implemented to help rebuild a sense of safety and community trust. It's so important that we don't just focus on the numbers but try to support efforts that address the root causes of such violence.
