I was re-reading some old articles about Carol Tate's disappearance, and something struck me about the shelter she was staying in. Has anyone else looked into if there were any unusual activities or incidents reported at that shelter around the time she went missing? I know she checked out on December 9, 2000, but it's got me wondering if perhaps there were any other people at the shelter who noticed anything odd or suspicious that day. It seems like since her case has so few leads, any small detail or witness account might help bring some clarity or new direction for the investigation. Just thinking out loud here, but it might be worth diving deeper into the shelter's records or reaching out to those who might have been there around the same time. Thoughts?
Did anyone else come across the detail that Carol Tate had some personal belongings still left behind at the shelter when she vanished? I read somewhere that she checked out without taking all her stuff, which could mean she intended to return. This has always made me wonder if she left voluntarily or if something unexpected happened after she left. It’s such a puzzling aspect, as she seemed to leave with the intention of coming back. Just curious if anyone else has any insights or thoughts on this part of her disappearance.
